North West Community Legal Centre is established to provide advice to residents of the North West Coast of Tasmania. Residents in other areas of the State can be referred to Community Legal Centres in their local area. We provide advice on a broad range of legal issues, including:
One of our solicitors is available to speak to community groups and organisations, secondary schools and colleges in relation to our services, but also any particular area of law that is of interest to them.
The North West Community Legal Centre is one of seven Community Legal Centres in Tasmania and has links with other Community Legal Centres across the country.
We are a free one off advice and referral centre. We do not conduct in Court representation or ongoing case work, unless the case work is approved in exceptional circumstances.
